Utah’s Economy continues to gain momentum

This quarter’s Economic & Housing Indicators report by MGIC’s Credit Policy Department shows some data that corroborates the empiric evidence we have seen at our office that there is a positive momentum to the housing sector in Utah.

While the housing sector in the metropolitan greater Salt Lake area is still considered soft, we have seen the supply of high quality lots decrease drastically, and good quality borrowers have taken advantage of record low interest rates to upgrade their homes.
